Reflections of the Inner World:
The Art of Stillness and Thought

In my work, I create abstract universes that offer an escape from the boundaries of the real world. Through collage, I build cities and landscapes that reflect both personal experiences and a deeper exploration of the mind. My art serves as a visual representation of the inner world—each piece a meditation on the concept of thought, consciousness, and the fluid nature of existence.
Inspired by Taoist philosophy and the practice of living in the moment, I often use the ocean as a metaphor for the mind, with each wave representing a thought surfacing in consciousness. Other recurring symbols, like a kraken emerging from the depths, embody the past—its tentacles reaching into the present, reminding us of the challenges we’ve overcome.
I work primarily with paper and hot glue, building intricate, layered compositions that function almost like visual diaries. Every image I choose, every scrap of paper I collect, carries personal significance, whether it’s from the places I’ve lived—Paris, Florence, Los Angeles, New York—or from cities I’ve visited and loved. My collages become a reflection of these experiences, but they also invite viewers to bring their own interpretations.
At its core, my art speaks to the idea that while we each have our own unique perspective on the world, we are all connected through the shared experience of being human, living together on this earth. My goal is to create spaces where imagination, memory, and emotion can coexist, offering viewers a chance to step into a world of their own making.
